WhatBattery is a static reference site. It has no accounts, sign-ups, comment forms or newsletters, and we don't ask you for personal information.

What is collected when you visit

• Hosting logs: like any website, our hosting and content delivery provider processes basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That data is handled under the provider's own privacy policy.
• Analytics: we don't run advertising trackers.
• Cookies: this site does not set its own cookies.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to makers, retailers and public agencies so you can check each figure. Those sites have their own privacy policies. If a page carries an affiliate link and you click it, the retailer or its affiliate network may set a cookie or similar identifier to record that the visit came from us, so a purchase can be credited. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
